What if a 29-year-old former quarterback was good enough to play pro baseball, too? What if we all tried the things that people told us we could not do? Inside the final comeback of a born-again star

    Congrats to Tim Tebow!
Shaken is now a New York Times, USA TODAY, Wall Street Journal, and Publisher’s Weekly Bestseller!

Bradford is given the ball on the det 18 by the defense and takes them backwards to the forty…not even a fg.what a saga the 2 qbs have had since the bcs champ game Tt total winner run out of football…brad. Total loser given big contract to lose… But they all say the gms are all smRt men and Tt just isn’t good enough for the smart men… Thank god the smart men ate in chgo jacksonville Cleveland chgo on and on

    • Sage says:

Jags on pace for 4 wins this year. I forget, is that what they won last year?

Bears with their 11-year vet Cutler won’t match last year’s 6 wins.

Still too soon to know whether Bradford will make his first playoff appearance in his sixth season as a starter, but he’s moving backwards.

Everyone is searching for the next “Tom Brady,” and there will never be one. Search for a winner, not for a second coming.

Not only losing w/subpar QB’s, but ratings also, lol!

    Voting Tuesday for FREEDOM!!!!

    • David says:

I voted early for freedom. In Jax, FL, the lines today on the last day of early voting were huge. Should be lighter on Tuesday with more polling places open.

      • ck says:

Just in case you notice “tricks of trade” if u r a poll watcher then there is a “TRUMP VOTER ASSISTANCE HOTLINE” #844-332-2016…DOING CIVIC DUTY, LOL!:D

    • Sage says:

Me too. A vote for Trump is a vote for accountability and rule of law. The mass media will never hold Hillary or a Democrat to account.

I forgot my twitter password, otherwise I would try to share it there. This lady has some profound insight and I hope millions will see her video.

    • ck says:

They are getting the message and it is not going to be “If u like your democratic given uncivilized ghetto, you can keep your ghetto by voting the same liars in office!” HOPE/PRAY THE CAREER CRIMINAL LIAR GOES DOWN IN DEFEAT!!! GOD BLESS/PROTECT THAT BRAVE AMERICAN FOR STATING THE TRUTH AND ACTING!!!
      Thanks Sage for the link!

GAME WINNING RBI for Tim! With 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th, Tim hit a single to left field which scored the winning run. Scottsdale wins 4-3 over Mesa.

    • David says:

      Thanks Danny.

“Tim Tebow hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to lift Scottsdale to a 4-3 win against Mesa in Arizona Fall League action on Monday night. Tebow finished 1-for-4 with a walk and is now hitting .146 in the AFL.”

    • ck says:

      Great news and thanks Danny!

  7. Danny says:

And….here’s video to the walk off RBI:

Pretty cool how the entire team mobbed Tim at first base.

  8. Danny says:

Tim made a great adjustment at the plate when he hit his game winning RBI last night, with a little advice from Reggie Jackson:

  9. Danny says:

Tim batting 7th as the DH today vs. Glendale. Game start 4:35 eastern.

  11. Danny says:

Interview with Sandy Alderson regarding Tim. The headline is typically misleading but overall the article content was a pretty solid realistic assessment.

  12. Danny says:

Sandy Alderson interview about Tim. The headline is typically misleading but I think the article hits some good points overall.

    • Brandi says:

The Mets are happy with what they’ve seen from Tim. The AFL is tough competition. Spring Training is even bigger competition. Sandy Alderson is putting Tim through “fire” as he called it. But I think he’s also trying to be careful not to let the fire get so hot it burns their Golden Goose.

    • Danny says:

Certainly Alderson likes what he sees. Tim is a work in progress and he’s made some great strides. Tim’s experience as a high profile professional athlete has served him well in the mental preparation side of the game.

Alderson believes in Tim and will stick with him. That’s all that Tim needs. He’ll do the rest.

  13. Danny says:

Tim batting 8th today playing left field vs. Surprise Sagaros. Game time 4:35 Eastern.

  14. Danny says:

Scottsdale vs Peoria at 2:35 Eastern. Tim in left field batting 8th.

    • Danny says:

Tim had a decent day today, 1-3 (a double), run scored, and a walk.

Tim struck out a couple of times, one on a foul tip.

      Making progress…..

      • Sage says:

Is that his first extra-base hit in the AFL?

        • Brandi says:

It was his second double. I think he needs to get a Home Run to call his time in the AFL a total success. But he’s getting used to top level Pitching. No matter where he goes in the Minors he’ll be facing much less stiff competition and should thrive. So all’s well. 🙂

    • Brandi says:

      Thank You Sage. 🙂

I really hope Tim’s Fans ignore the nonsense from the self-proclaimed cool crowd. They were allowed to completely dominate the discussion with the NFL even though their numbers were miniscule. But they had Tebow Fans responding which made them seem much larger. (That plus the few there are post and comment everywhere making them also seem like there’s more.)

I want to remind everyone here of one of the uglier times. When BCB created the website for “Not even if he’s released” they came here and every other Tebow Fan Forum, social media site and everywhere Tim’s Fans hang out including social media groups with 200+ times as many Tebow fans as BCB has members. They posted a link to the site like it was a “Vote” on whether the Jaguars should sign Tim but instead it was just a simple page counter. Then they took all those big page counts from all those many Tebow Fans and told the world “Look? This is how many don’t want the Jaguars to sign Tebow”. It was a number about 10 times bigger than the Jaguars Fans on Facebook and Twitter combined.

All because Tim’s fans were played, used and mocked by laughing punks. (Who then proceeded to come in here and other groups, often in mask as Tebow fans, to bust the group up, something they accomplished with a few.)

Even his Detractors know their numbers are small and unless they can get Tebow Fans to react they’re simply a few idiots talking to a few other idiots.

Please, Please, PLEASE do NOT take the bait a second time.

      • Sage says:

Alinsky tapped into a regrettable truth, which is that ridicule is a potent weapon. I’m not sure (yet) why ridicule seems to have asymmetrical properties. The direction is not easily reversed.

      • Shirley says:

Excellent analysis Brandi. Makes sense out of everything. I think Tim is doing GREAT considering. I hope and pray he makes it, and all those creeps have to eat crow.

  15. Sage says:

Tim Tebow gave John Fox four years of nfl coaching career that Fox didn’t deserve.

  16. Sage says:

My dream: Urban and Ohio State win the championship and he is hired as Jags’ HC. You know the rest.

  17. Sage says:

Looks like Bortles is in the mustache phase of his career. Although I haven’t done a complete statistical canvassing, it seems like embattled QBs tend to adopt facial hair. It’s a show of rugged independence and, it seems, impending failure.

  18. Danny says:

Tim batting 8th today playing left field vs. Salt River. Game time 2:35pm Eastern.

  19. David says:

Here is a look at Tim’s most recent progress. His batting average is now .190
“After an 0-for-13 slump during his first week, Tebow had slowly been able to raise his batting average to .190. He’s now in the middle of his second three game hitting streak and had his first multiple hit game yesterday.

Through 10 games since October 26, Tebow is hitting .265. During that span he has hit three extra base hits — all doubles — and scored four times. He’s also becoming more disciplined at the plate as all of his walks were issued over his past six games”

  20. David says:

The Mets have a Tumblr account.
