Unfortunately I was at the gym today and while I was on the treadmill, someone came by and turned ESPN on. The hosts of the show kept repeating the footage of Tebow banging into the wall(over and over again). They showed no film footage of Tebow assisting the man who had a seizure but instead mocked Tebow’s good deeds.
It upset so much I had to leave the gym.
I hate ESPN with a passion.
It’s really amazing. I’m not precisely sure when leftists took over sports journalism, but it’s been awhile now. Maybe Rush’s stint on ESPN was a key milestone.
What’s obvious to me as I listen to sports radio occasionally (due to boredom while driving) is that moralizing feels great to these pinheads. It makes them feel smarter than just jocks. And so it’s become an important ego boost for them.
Why has ESPN grown so much over the years? I guess there has just been a lot of untapped demand for sports talk. It’s too bad it has descended in this way. It’s inevitable, I guess, since sports talk is inherently shallow. I do give props to Brandi and a few others who mix it with insights from other fields.
Not to worry, Andrea, as I heard they are losing ratings BIG TIME due to unpatriotic players who are not worthy of being in this country! At least Tebow is succeeding in spite of all the nonstop criticism and uses it to his advantage…GO TEBOW/GBPTT!
Oh by the way – great job Tebow !!!
Glad Tebow was there to help this guy and he made a great recovery too!:)
