I do not obsess over RG III,Tiger or Johnny Manziel. Manziel is a dope addict, Tiger is scumbag womanizer and RG III the so-called christian athlete left his wife and 3 month old daughter for some bimbo.

Why this dingbat columnist mentions Tebow along side these three scumbags is beyond me.

Hoping Tebow rocks the MLB world !!!!!

170 coaches have coached at least 50 games in NFL history. Gus Bradley ranks 169th of those 170 with a career winning percentage of .240.

Anyone out here make it to Tebow’s first day?

He was issued jersey #15, same as his days with the Gators and the Broncos.

Hundreds are there to see Tebow today, far surpassing the usual friends and family that come out to the instructional league.

Would have loved to see Tebow but I live in Maryland.

  5. David says:

Tim Tebow arrived at the New York Mets’ minor league clubhouse Monday morning, finding an orange-and-blue jersey with No. 15 on the back swaying in his locker.

He was asked if that worked.

    “Heck, yeah,” Tebow replied.

“A lot of people would say, ‘Well, it puts a chip on your shoulder,'” Tebow said. “I mean, I guess I have a little chip. You want to prove people right. Not really the naysayers, it’s more that I want to prove the coaches right, the Mets organization, my teammates, play with my teammates and try to be the best baseball player I can — more importantly, the best person I can.”–spt.html

Earlier, we heard that Tebow was taking Saturdays off to work at ESPN. Then the media started saying he was taking 2 days off which is not true. He can leave the Orlando or Miami airports and get anywhere in the SEC in a couple of hours. He’ll miss practice on Saturday and the whole team is off on Sunday.
“But Tebow said he plans to work out Friday before leaving for his TV job, saying he’ll probably wind up being gone from camp for only about 24 hours. He’s serious about this pursuit, and insisted that getting to the major leagues is his goal.”

    • Danny says:

Agreed David, too much made out of Tim’s SEC commitment. He will miss only one three hour workout per week.

News media always playing up the drama.
