    Happy B-day Tim.

The NFL’s new $72M man, and Elway’s protégé, Osweiler, was 4-7 for 27 yards with no points, a sack and a batted 4th down pass. Good thing he’s so tall.

Just preseason, of course. But it’s amusing how Bill O’Brien takes credit for what Brady and Moss achieved. I don’t think he can coach offense particularly well. Lowlife Bob McNair booted Kubiak away as if he were vermin, and is heavily invested in mediocrity.

Houston booted Hoyer after he threw a TD every 19.4 attempts last year. He choked in the playoff game and they got mad with him.
Then they paid twice as much money for Osweiler who threw a TD every 27 attempts.
This is not going to end well.

As Andrea would say: “Great stuff!” And thanks Danny for finding it and proves what we know…Tebow is deserving of a pro NFL career b/c “ALL HE DOES IS WIN W/TDS!” GO TEBOW! GBPTT & ALL HIS FANS TOO!!!

    • Danny says:

Thanks ck! I find it amusing that the NFL has all of a sudden got quite nostalgic about Tim Tebow now that he’s decided not to put up with all the NFL shenanigans.

When I watched that yesterday I saw a pretty decent QB and a leader. It’s a shame what the NFL did to him.

As of now the video has nearly 44,000 views with almost 1400 likes and 91 dislikes, which translates to a 15 to 1 ratio. People remember.

      • Sage says:

Agreed. And is there someone in NFL history who has clearly eclipsed Tebow’s statistics in their first 16 starts?

Roethisburger did, I believe. And Marino reached a fast start, but much of his legend is based on games during his second season as a starter.

In today’s pass-happy NFL, a few other young QBs are getting TD totals similar to Tebow’s, but that’s after grooming and virtually building the franchise around them. Most guys fall short of Tebow even after their 7th or 8th season.

It’s wise not to overstate things, but until I’m shown ANY player in NFL history (besides Big Ben) who has soundly eclipsed Tebow’s first 16 games as a starter, I will insist he was (is) far more than a pretty good QB.

An interesting take why Tim will succeed in professional baseball:

It addresses a lot of qualities we’ve discussed out here as observers.
