Tim Tebow’s new book to detail end of quarterback’s football career

Tim Tebow appears to have come to terms with the end of his football career through writing.

The former Florida quarterback has a new book called “Shaken” set to be released Oct. 25. Yahoo!’s Pat Forde says the book will focus on how Tebow dealt with the end of his professional football career.

Just talked with @TimTebow, who has a book coming out in October titled “Shaken.” Sounds like it will detail overcoming end of FB career.

Tebow was drafted in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. He led the Broncos to the playoffs in 2011 and a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild card round. He was traded to the New York Jets in 2012, where he was a backup and wildcat quarterback behind Mark Sanchez. The Jets released him in April 2013.

The former Heisman winner was determined to get another shot as an NFL quarterback, despite the fact that few teams thought he was good enough to make it.

He went to training camp with the New England Patriots in 2013 and the Philadelphia Eagles in 2014. Both teams cut him before the regular season. He has worked as an analyst for ESPN and the SEC Network since December 2013.

Tebow’s first book, “Through My Eyes,” came out in 2011 and was a New York Times bestseller.
