Good Lord. Are we supposed to feel better if Lynch gets a nice long playing career?
Buzzy Says Only posted this because of the Poll at the end.

  2. KingSolomon says:

    Buzzy….is anyone looking at Tim??

Buzzy Says It was my Understanding that there was one call that was looked at and turned down.Don’t know who ,what, when, where.

    • KingSolomon says:

I love Tim, but his people need to take ANY offer he gets. He can then get on the field and prove his worth. he cannot keep turning offers down.
Buzzy Says Tim pretty much runs his Camp I would say it was his decsion.

      • KingSolomon says:

Then TIM needs to take any offer he gets and run with it. Of course, if they are asking him to be a lineman or something like that, I would say drop dead too. But any QB position should be considered and I would even consider an H-Back role even though we all want him to be a QB. sad

He needs a new management team b/c the current ones are not doing him any favors at all imo!:(

Tebow wins the pole w/59% vs 23% for “BUTT FUMBLE” and that IS EXCITING, LOL!
Will predict the only magic that they will have this year is that “BUTT FUMBLE” FINDS A WAY TO REPEAT HIS MONIKER, YET, AGAIN! There will never be another TEBOW!

    • Brandi says:

They closed the poll yesterday when Tim reached 63% and was getting 7 new votes for every one Sanchez…who ended at 21%…was receiving. Lynch ended with 12%.

From the time Kubiak made it clear he has no plans to push Lynch onto the Field, almost all the votes were going to Tim. I guess the MHR guys decided to close voting before they had to explain why he was blowing the others away with the Fans.

In Australia, we have a number of football sports. One of them is Rugby Union. In rugby, the main play-maker is the No. 10 (or fly-half).

In recent years, we have had a very mercurial fly-half, by the name of Quade Cooper, who has been in and out of the role.

He did many brilliant, almost unbelievable things. However, he countered that by doing some of the most incredibly stupid things (throwing passes which could never come off, kicking down the opposition’s throats, etc).

He split the rugby community: half thought he was a flawed genius; the other half believed he was an overrated hack. The reality was, both sides had their points.

I think that Tebow is the same. He’s not one of the great QBs. He can’t throw a conservative, solid game when it’s needed.

However, he has that “it” factor, to be able to do something totally outrageous when it’s needed to pull a game from the fire.

The problem that most coaches have with him, is that his inconsistency is the reason why he needs to pull out the last minute wins.

In any event, I would never have called Quade one of the best fly-halves in the game, but I still found him both entertaining and effective. And, he is still playing at a very high level, despite his obvious flaws.

That’s a logic that can play on SportsCenter. But I don’t think it’s the issue.

When Tim was handed the Ball in 2011 John Elway said the NFL had never seen anything even close to the rush from the Media. Floods of requests for time with Tim from Media Outlets that never bothered talking NFL. The Broncos told them all not during the Season. But the precedent was set. Tim Tebow is unlike any Player the NFL has ever had. He even was named World’s Most Marketable Athlete…in the Oprah stratosphere of Global popularity. Something no NFL Player ever has or ever will again come close to achieving.

Then the first hit took place. John Elway was on a show on the same Radio Station that carried his own show. he was among Media Friends. And they cornered him with the question he said he wasn’t going to answer about ANY Player until the Season was over. Was Tim Tebow the Broncos long-term answer at Quarterback? Was it his job to keep? Elway faltered and uttered the “No” heard ‘Round the World. And the new Orange Crush began.

Even the Duke of Denver was no match for Tim Tebow and calls began for Elway to be ousted. John Elway…THE Man in Denver. The previously unquestioned Master of all he surveyed in the Rockies.

What hope did mere mortal GMs and Coaches have?

Buzzy Says And today the GM and Coaches Still feel the same as the first game of the Eagles PreSeason the whole place stood up and screamed Tebow! that was the End of Chip And Tim. T2 never got to play with the ones and twos again after that game.

If he were given a chance W/RECEIVERES WHO CAN CATCH AND A DEFENSE THAT IS CAPABLE OF DOING JUST THAT, he would do exactly what he did in college…WIN ON A CONSISTENT BASIS!!! Thanks for the Australian perspective only there is ONE TEBOW!!! Liked the post btw.:D

    Buzzy, thanks for the updates.

Seems that Tim hasn’t been totally forgotten.

I haven’t been out here for a while now; I was just biding my time to see if Tim was going to get signed by an NFL team by last week or if he made a decision to go to Canada.

Canada would be a great option for him; the style of play in the CFL would certainly in his wheelhouse. He has a choice for Canada, whether he wants to go is another thing. He knows what his impact on the CFL would be and I’m sure he wants to be compensated just like we all do for our jobs and professions.

He would have a brilliant career in Canada and in turn the CFL would benefit from all the goodwill and the play would be elevated because the CFL would be able to attract better talent to play there.

Since training camps are in three weeks for the CFL and the regular season beginning in June, I think if he were going to Canada he would have signed by now.

CFL is the only option at this point; I don’t even have the words to describe the NFL anymore. If Tim’s not going (and from all appearances now that seems to be the case) then he’s not going to play this year.

Tebow passed and rushed for 29 touchdowns in his first two years in the NFL. I would challenge the regulars out here at TZ to find another QB that passed and rushed for 30+ touchdowns in their first two years in the NFL then never take a regular season snap again.

Danny: Seems like we are all “biding” our time…

      • KingSolomon says:

and I, for one, am sick of it! he deserves to be in the NFL RIGHT NOW, but I am ready to just give up the fight.

        • ck says:

Can appreciate how frustrating it has been to watch low level talent receiving positions and the one that has TALENT deemed worthy of no position due to POLITICS AND HOPE IT COMES BACK TO BITE THEM ALL JMO!!! Until I hear Tebow giving up then it just doesn’t seem loyal to do so and everyone has their own opinion or reasons to do what is best in this situation. Find it hard to believe that he isn’t deserving of a “MIRACLE” in this instance and maybe we are in for another SURPRISE?!!! It sure has been more quiet than usual and that usually means something is going on behind the scenes for what it is worth. Well, King Solomon what say u?
