NEW YORK — A new book by former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow will be a guide on how to handle success and disappointment.

WaterBrook, a Christian imprint of the Crown Publishing Group, told The Associated Press on Wednesday that it will publish Tebow’s “Shaken: Discovering Your True Identity in the Midst of Life’s Storms” in October. Tebow will write about maintaining perspective “when your dreams do not go as planned.” WaterBrook also plans a companion Bible study.

A former Heisman Trophy winner at the University of Florida, the 28-year-old Tebow helped lead the Denver Broncos to the playoffs in 2011, but has struggled since. He was released by the Philadelphia Eagles before last season.

Tebow has been a prominent advocate for Christianity. His memoir “Through My Eyes” was a best-seller in 2011.

He is an inspiration and what a TESTIMONY! GO TEBOW!!!

In his earlier book, Tebow pointed to a couple people with whom he had prior conflicts. Any guess whether he will call out names in the NFL?

One of the things that turned me against the Broncos completely was how virtually none of the players did anything to back Tebow after he was shipped out. Von Miller went to Tebow’s golf tourney, and Eric Decker made a 6-second expression of regret that Tebow was squeezed out, but Decker terminated that statement almost in mid-sentence. Everything else that I’ve seen from the Broncos has been total shade. For some reason, Demaryius Thomas acts like Tebow was his oppressor, even though DT dropped 14 percent of Tebow’s catchable passes.

I’d like to hear Tim’s perspective on Jets versus Jags.

I don’t have the problem with the Media some here do. I just think when it comes to the NFL it’s basically awful. But one thing it has done with Tim is uneven play. Example–DT said some things that cast Tim in a dim light. The next day USAToday Sports had a big column pointing out that had Demaryius been healthy the whole time Tim was Broncos QB and maintained the same numbers as when he actually was able to Play he would have led the NFL in Receiving Yards and Yards Per Catch. It also snarkily pointed out he also would have been among NFL leaders in Dropped Passes.

Later that day DT retracted his earlier comments and said good things about Tim. But while his initial comments were the stuff of stories from lots of columnists and almost every Major Sports Media Outlet his retraction and more positive comments were carried by very few.

This went on while he was in Denver as well. John Fox tried pointing out that Tim’s famous dirt passes were entirely on him. He had instructed Tim to do that cause Fox was so terrified of Interceptions. It was his normal mindset anyway. But after watching Orton run up big Passing Yardage and then throw it all away with a couple dumb Interceptions Fox was doubly shy. But despite Fox’s efforts the comments about Tim’s Passing continued so much it became part of his resume’ and Foxy’s statements were totally ignored except by a couple in Denver Media.

When Fox, Gase, and McCoy have all crapped out, some dimwits will put 2 + 2 together and realize Tebow wasn’t holding Fox back. These men would rather lose with anyone than win with Tebow.

I would love to see and I hope Tebow gives us the inside story of why he was traded to the NY Jets instead of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Plus I hope he tears Rex Ryan a new one.

    Predict another “Best Seller” jmo!

Buzzy: Look at what Rubio said about Tebow!
