Denver Broncos Rumors 2016: Tim Tebow is next after acquiring Mark Sanchez?

By Garry Baybayan on March 12, 2016

The Denver Broncos and John Elway will keep on chasing another Super Bowl despite losing Peyton Manning (retired) and Brock Osweiler (signed to Texas) in the span of less than a week. Denver is reportedly acquired Mark Sanchez from the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional draft pick.

Elway tweeted his move on Friday afternoon.

Sanchez, 29, played for four games with the Eagles in 2016. Sanchez found his success with the Jets, bringing them to two AFC Championships, earlier in his NFL career but was moved to the Eagles. He had 616 yards in passing with four touchdowns and four interceptions last season.

One of the Denver Broncos rumors circulating right now is the entrance of Tim Tebow in another year with the Broncos. Tebow led the Broncos in a playoff win over Pittsburgh, and loss to the Patriots, before Elway took Manning. With the strong defense that the Broncos possess, it can also be a possibility to consider Tebow.

Colin Kaepernick is also one of the hottest quarterbacks who is looking for a home. If the Broncos pull off the trigger for Kaepernick, then Sanchez would be the back up quarterback.

They would never bring Tim in but wouldn’t it be ironic if they did. Elway could undo the damage he did to Tim by bringing him in and letting him actually compete against Mark Sanchez to start. Unlike the Jets, the team Elway sent Tim to, who never gave him a chance. Even the Eagles didn’t give him a fair chance to compete to start or even compete for back-up He was only allowed to compete for third string. That is questionable in that he obviously won that competition and was still cut. In reality, he was the best QB in Philly. He was getting back in the groove with every snap he took. Elway should do it but he won’t because of Tim’s popularity. I bet even the rumors are causing Mark Sanchez some anxiety. Don’t worry Mark, he is only a camp arm.

Elway said all the right words at the time of the trade to the Jets. Tim needed to be somewhere he would actually play and develop and with Peyton that wasn’t going to be Denver. Even that it wasn’t necessarily the last time Fans would see Tim in a Broncos uniform.

Maybe it was just John being John. But if by any odd chance he does bring Tim back, Elway can point to that and say it was in the back of his mind all along. Of course, making it all about John Elway. Just the way he likes it. 🙂

Buzzy Says : Just thinking that Elway would Bring Sanchez over Tim Tebow Makes Me want to throw Up.I have just about had It with The NFL.

It’s taken you long enough, Buzzy. I reached the point of having had enough when the NFL started painting Jameis Winston as a Role Model to Kids.

Knowing Sanchez, he now adds a “no Tebow” clause to every contract.

With your talk of the Eagles, I remember Tim covering a couple of fumbles very fast, and very bravely. Not a Cam Newton specialty.

Sorta like Kaepernick, who couldn’t get the ball in the endzone on 1st and goal from the one.

Tim has all the things go be great. All of them. Winning just isn’t the highest priority in the NFL. Control and comfortable are the highest priorities in the NFL.

Just wondering how many millions Sam Bradford has earned, and if he ever will go to the playoffs.

Buzzy Says : This Sanchez thing is just another Insult. I would say something Nasty if I was not the editor.

Sage: Elrot will stoop as low as possible and proves the point by what he just signed aka “butt fumble”…sickens me too, Buzzy!
