Tim Tebow’s jump shot form is smoother than his passing motion

He’s got a really smooth stroke!

Tim Tebow hooped with the Alabama basketball team. He’s pretty good!

He even drilled the halfcourt shot. And reportedly others, too!

No wasted motion in that jumper. No wasted motion at all…

I sense that TT would be good at ANY sport! He is a true athlete for sure!

Also professional through and through…not like Ryan Mallett from the Texans…

Texans are the Team that should have signed Tim. But Bill O’Brien wants to prove he can win with any QB. Today, it was the Bills who lost because they didn’t have Tebow. Lots of Games can be called in-the-eye-of-the-beholder. But there’s no doubt Tim wouldn’t have thrown the Game away the way EJ Manuel did. The Jaguars did everything they could to lose that Game.

    • Sage says:

People focus on Tim’s physique, but it is his mind that is extraordinary.

To perform under pressure is special. I don’t know what other athletes could be said to have his caliber of mind. Jack Nicklaus. Tiger, during his hayday.

    • Danny says:

The zone read is not an easy offense for a QB to run, as sometimes as the play develops the QB is making the decision on the fly who is getting the ball, or if the QB is keeping the ball or passing. This takes quick evaluation and decision making.

Without argument Tebow is the best there is at the zone read. Properly executed it is very difficult to stop consistently.

  2. Danny says:

Belichek should have kept Tebow over Mallett back in 2013. Mallett’s NFL career peaked in 2012 and has been on borrowed time ever since.

    • brandi says:

Patriots wouldn’t have a place for Tebow unless Brady decides to call it quits. Instead he’s saying he’s Playing for another 10 years.

Somehow the Anti-Tebow crowd got many of Tim’s Fans to think Back-Up. He’s a Franchise QB. Anything else is a farce.

      • Danny says:

That’s right, a lot of people just hope he hooks on somewhere at this point.

He is one that should just be given the keys and run with it. A lot of teams need help.

Texans just need to cut Mallett after that episode, sign Tebow and tell him it’s his team to run.

I know alotta people are grabbing at any straw. It gets frustrating cause I said for years, I think even on this Forum, don’t let Tim’s Detractors define the rhetoric. And they did.

    and…I’m being generous about “peaked”

Brandi, you’re talking about cable and Internet on Twitter. An amazing and short read is “Life After Television,” by George Gilder. Remarkably, he penetrated this subject way back around 1989.

I made and then lost a bundle following his advice. He’s *way* early, but he sees far.

    • brandi says:

I started working with the Manufacturers about 7 years ago on the SmartTelevision stuff. We’re so far behind some other Countries it’s mind boggling. I’m surprised the cable industry hasn’t done more. It would have secured their future.

      Thanks for the suggestion. 🙂

  5. Sage says:

Holy cow, the Texans need Tebow.

I hated the way McNair fired Kubiak, but he surely is an owner who needs to get involved. What could be a more obvious and fruitful decision than brining in Tebow. Now.

  6. Danny says:

You know there’s no way Mallett is playing today..Hoyer currently 1/12 for 7 yards and an INT.

Running game at -3 yards…with Foster in your backfield????

At 35-0, this is already UGLY for the Texans.

    Tebow. Now.

  7. Danny says:

That interception by Hoyer was a PICK 6!

  8. Danny says:

    Well since Hoyer’s 1/12 start he went 22/37 for a game total of 23/49 for 273 yards, 3 TD’s and 1 INT.

Most of that was garbage time when the game was over by the end of the first half.

Foster is out for the rest of the season with an Achilles tear.

No QB’s, Foster out, their season is OVER.

    So, what’s the Texan’s options?

Tebow can bring out the best in those around him. Sign him, invest in him, he will bring massive dividends to Houston.

If there’s a time for leadership for the Texans, this is the time.

    Tebow, three year deal…GO!!
