It’s a heartwarming story from Jacksonville, Florida to kick off your Wednesday morning. Former Florida Gator and Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow visited a young man by the name of Nathaniel Nelson in the hospital.

Nelson is battling cancer at the Wolfson Children’s Hospital and had a wish to meet Tebow. As part of his foundation, he made the trip to the young man’s bedside, which was decked out in Gators gear, and reporter Laura Caso from NBC 12 in Jacksonville caught the emotional exchange between the two.

Just after 8:00p.m. on Tuesday night, the video was posted to Facebook here, on the Tim Tebow Foundation page. In less than twelve hours the video had been played 1.5 million times and accumulated more than 27,000 shares.

Great story, just another touch of grace and humanity that makes TT a special person.

I’m glad that TT has made the most of his athletic career and has used that exposure to do some remarkable and impacting things off the field.
