Blessings to friends and Tebow fands who have been here so faithfully. I can’t see much reason to keep hoping Tim wins a spot in the NFL, though miracles can happen and perhaps might.

It surprised me when Chip Kelly not only cut Tebow, but made cutting remarks. Coaches and GMs are truly control freaks, and Tebow’s independent following is annoying to them. So be it.

David O, I’ve been doing pretty much my own Christmas Pledge for years. Hard to move the needle, but I’m with you.

    • Danny says:

Sage, I agree with you there, it was kind of odd that Kelly gave TT a lot of support, to the point where people “in the know” were predicting a roster spot for TT but in the end not only did he not get a spot, but in so many words tossed him to the curb. Kelly could have handled it much better than that, especially after telling Barkley he hopes that Barkley “can have a long NFL career”.

Anyway, back to topic. We are back to the “Top x teams that Tebow can go to” stories. I’ll bite on this one and see where this goes.

      1. Houston Texans

As far as the Texans strengths this is the best one out of the three listed. When Arian Foster gets back in October, it would be a great combination if TT has an opportunity to play. Hoyer is injury prone and Mallett maxed his potential at New England. Also George Godsey, the Texans OC got a look at Tebow at NE when Tebow was signed by the Patriots. Godsey was one of the offensive coaches at NE then. This might be an interesting fit.

      2. Dallas Cowboys

This is kind of interesting too. Maxing out Tebow’s potential means that the team needs a strong running game to complement his skills. I’m not sure about the Cowboys running game this year so that’s a tough call. McFadden is the only name I recognize out of the RB’s and his production isn’t so great.

As QB’s go Weeden is very average and Romo being Romo will probably be inconsistent in the beginning, and then have his “Mr. November” moment again this year which brings hope eternal to Cowboys nation and then collapses at the end. Speaking of QB’s that has had a lot of chances, this guy has had them! At 35 years old, you would think that he would have got to the Super Bowl at least once.

Who knows, it may come down to the Eagles/Cowboys rivalry and Jerry Jones may want to sign TT just to tweak the Eagles.

      3. Cleveland Browns

This would appear to be a natural fit as Johnny Manziel is already there and TT’s skills would mesh well in the offensive scheme. However, as dysfunctional of a franchise that is, I don’t know if Tebow would thrive there. They do have some young running backs. I’ve written before how in the Eagles preseason TT made the RB’s look awful good.

In think in the Browns case you just have to give TT the keys and let him roll with it, and with it help Manziel learn to be a professional athlete. If he’s not the starter, it just isn’t worth TT’s time to be there.

I think Kelley did not want other teams giving Tim a chance, what better way than a lie smear campaign? Karma has seem to follow teams who have treated Tim wrongly the Eagles have just been added to this list, I believe in Karma What goes around comes around!

    • Mike says:

      Sage,

It’s apparent that he is blacklisted. Go to NFL.com and sort the passing data. He’s a respectable #48 overall with a 90.7 rating. He was #23 in yards per attempt. He was #28 in longest pass thrown and #23 in number of TD passes. He was 40 & 41 in number of 1st downs and 1st down percentage. These are numbers worthy of any 2nd string QB in the league. Period. And this is for a guy out of football for two years in a new offense. All of you here, please do not believe any of the B/S dished out by all the NFL hacks. Let’s all just hope and pray that TEBOW goes to the CFL. We can all then enjoy him on TV, and turn the NFL off at home for good. The CFL plays into Novemeber, so they we can spend the holidays with our families (instead of wasting precious time on the No Fun League.. The NFL stinks.. It’s vanilla offenses, and lack of practice time shows in the quality of play. I mean half of the starting QB’s around the league are chumps, and should we actually celebrate a loser like Rex Ryan in Buffalo (enough with the feet REX). I’m so over the NFL, I stopped watching after the Jet’s fiasco, and I will never watch again. GO TEBOW!!! GO CFL!!!

      • Sage says:

I’d have been happy for Tebow to play in the CFL all along. It’s a decent stage for proving oneself. But I got the impression the CFL was likewise full of control freaks who thought they were too good for Tim.

Tebow’s performance in preseason this year and with the Patriots was just about the same as his game in 2011. It’s productive and potentially successful, but it seems like coaches would rather die than win with him. So weird.

        • Danny says:

At this point, I don’t think he should consider CFL. They are halfway through their season and I have to think the rosters are pretty well set.

My guess is that TT isn’t interested in going to Canada to play, for whatever reason.

If there is truly a “Blacklist” (and the current events would lead a person to believe that) there is very little upside to playing in these alternative leagues if the ultimate goal is to play in the NFL. Too many people making a name for themselves, want to be the guy that knocks him out. 99% will never play in the NFL anyway.

If Chip wanted him to get more reps, he should have thought about that in training camp. TT was completely fine, he was getting comfortable especially at the end of preseason and throwing the ball well.

          • Mike says:

Montreal’s QBs both stink and they are in the cellar. They have his rights. They need him ASAP.

          • Mike says:

Also, review Doug Fluties career. He was a huge star coming into the NFL. An undersized running QB. The Bears didn’t want him. They ditched him and then stunk forever. The Patriots gave him a cup of Coffee then dumped him. He goes to the CFL and tears it apart. He wins a bunch of Grey Cups, and gets back into the league with Buffalo. He comes off the Bench takes them to the playoffs (makes the Pro Bowl) only to be benched in the playoff game for loser Rob Johnson. Gets dumped by Buffalo, then San Diego, and rides off to the Sunset behind Tom Brady in New England. The dude was a winner, who was never fully given the change to have his own team. However, it was the CFL that offered Flutie his last shot of getting back into the NFL. And it worked. It will work for TIM. Tebow don’t let those punks run you out of football. Your fans have stuck behind you. Now it’s time for you to man up and fight!!! CFL or BUST!!!

    • ck says:

Sage: Will agree too and many blessings also!

  2. RICK says:

I agree 3 teams, Montreal Alouettes, Tampa Bay Storm, and the LA Kiss Timmy could back up there and see what happens.

  3. jason says:

Sorry to say, since I am Tebow fan, but I think it is over for him..

  4. Mike says:

Tebow finished the preseason with a passer rating higher than Russel Wilson, Aaron Rodgers, and Nick Foles. Then the Eagles go out & sign former Miami QB Stephon Morris that had a rating of 79.7 (Tebow’s was 90.7). Don’t believe anything the NFL hacks say about Tim. He can play and we all know it. It has been my thought all along that he should have went to the CFL to sharpen his game. You’ll hear people say he can’t play in that league, but that is only because they do not want him to. With the wide field he would have more room to run around the edge. Mobile QB’s like Flutie have ripped that league apart. Tebow should go there any put the league on his back. The games would wind up being broadcast here in the US, and would probably attract more viewers than a sub-par Monday night matchup. TEBOW you do not need the NFL. The NFL needs you. Now man up and go to Canada and show the world who you really are!!!

  5. lex says:

has anyone heard what the next move will be by tim? an NFL team could still sign in, correct? or is that very unlikely now?

back to training with the coach in Los Angeles?

this whole thing with releasing tim makes no sense, at all.

    • Danny says:

Lex, Tim can sign with any NFL team now. Because he has less than 4 years of NFL service he had to clear waivers. That ended today at 1:00PM Eastern. Because he has more than two years of service, he is not eligible for practice squad, which is a common error I see in articles about Tim.

There are a few signings made for depth and teams bring in players all the time to work them out. There’s absolutely no risk for a team to sign Tebow because there’s no hit on the salary cap and he would play for minimum. Just the increased ticket sales/concessions and just general interest for the team would more than pay for his salary. How many people followed the Eagles a little closer and took interest because Tebow was there? A lot, I’d say. How many Tebow #11 jerseys did the Eagles sell? A lot. I’m sure that the Eagles in the end made more off Tebow from merchandise sales than they paid out in salary.

My guess that Tebow’s agent is working the phones to get some interest for TT. We will see what happens.

      • LuitLipton says:

Honestly I dont think Tims agent is working very hard for him at all, this year or the past 2yrs

        • ck says:

LuitLipton: Very true and doesn’t seem like to much of a coincidence that the Patriots used the same line that Kelly did stating he needs to improve etc.? This is worse than “ROTTEN IN DENMARK” AND IT IS ROTTEN IN THE NFL AS THEY ARE TRYING TO DISCOURAGE TEBOW PLUS HIS FANS WITH THIS IMMORAL LYING GARBAGE WHEN EVERYONE KNOWS HE DIDN’T WIN BY ACCIDENT ALL THOSE RECORDS/TITLES/CSHPS ETC.!!! ONE BIG PERPETRATING MISINFORMATION MACHINE AND I HOPE TEBOW/FANS DEFEAT THEM LIKE THE “WALLS OF JERICHO”!!! BESIDES THEY ARE IMPLODING ANYWAY AND IT WOULDN’T TAKE MUCH FOR THE ALL THIS DECEPTION TO BE A FULL BLOWN EXPOSURE!!! NFL CONTROL FREAKS WHO ARE LOSING CONTROL IS WHAT IT BOILS DOWN TOO!!! THE FANS ARE IN CHARGE AS THEY PAY THE BILLS PERIOD!!!

  6. lex says:

Thanks, Danny for the detailed explanation.

My prayer is that one of those other teams will be willing to take a chance.
I still cannot get over Coach Kelly not keeping Tim. Just beyond my comprehension.

    • David Oliver says:

Remember.. the discreet, low-life, anti – Christian, Elitist Owner,
TT NFL BlackBall GAME – can be played in many deceptive ways, it can
be an “Elitist Back Room Joke” … What to do or not do in their
evil schemes NEXT… as they CAST THE TT DICE..

Basically, The Father of LIES, is WHO is really behind this FACADE – FIASCO!
Buzzy Says : Dont let them get to you D.O.

      • ck says:

David O.: A HEARTY AMEN TO THAT!!!:D That is why that movie is coming out and it will be a TSUNAMI EFFECT IN TERMS OF BACKLASH…THEN WHO WILL THEY HAVE TO BLAME OR USE AS A “SCAPEGOAT”!!!

    • ck says:

Lex: Their rules are different and immoral…that is why their actions defy definition/comprehension b/c no one deserves this kind of TX when they are above reproach in discipline, character, stats, wins, practice etc. So, he went out and did what they asked and every time they keep asking him to do some other ridiculous thing and he proves he can do whatever they ask it seems they keep finding another reason for nothing else other than to thwart his efforts of ever trying to obtain a place in the NFL!!! This is a sick game they are playing and hope they reap it!!!

  7. Danny says:

In the category of “Anyone But Tebow”, Eagles signed Stephen Morris, a third string cut from Jacksonville to replace Tebow. According to Mark Eckel, he texted an NFL exec about his opinion and he said “He’s bad”.

    Huh.

    http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2015/09/what_you_need_to_know_about_eagles_qb_stephen_morr.html

    • tawk2 says:

Just goes to show Chip never really was going to give Tim a true chance, nothing but a liar, oh wait the NFL is full of them! I hope the Eagle’s fans run Chip out of town. If this is not proof that the NFL is blackballing Tebow I don’t what is!

      • Danny says:

Yep, sure seems that way…I still think that Chip flipped at the end. Too many insiders were thinking Tebow was in. How come the change????

Then, to add insult to injury, a guy like Stephen Morris is signed! And…pulled off the waiver wire no less! Does this insanity get any crazier?

      • ck says:

        Tawk2: Totally agree w/u!

  8. lex says:

Mike- I am with you. Let’s see if the CFL can be the next landing spot for Tim.

All of you, I am soooo over the NFL. What a terrible treatment of TT.

  9. peterbilt says:

why cant john fox give tebow a call and give him a shot to run the bears offense?…they surely would be better off with tim at the helm rather than smokin jay

    • ck says:

FOX IS AS BAD AS ELROT IMO!!! WHAT A BAD JOKE BOTH OF THEM ARE!!! THEIR EGO’S ARE THE REASON THEY CAN’T SEE THE WRITING ON THE WALL AS THEY BOTH SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT OUT TO PASTURE/RETIRED LONG AGO!!! ELROT HAS NO BUSINESS RUNNING A PERSONNEL DEPT., LET ALONE A FOOTBALL TEAM HE HELPED BANKRUPT W/ONE & DONE–OF COURSE THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN MORE SO WITHOUT TEBOW BRINING IN ALL KINDS OF FUNDS AND NOT TO MENTION WINS INSTEAD OF LOSING JMO!!!

      • ck says:

OOOPS…MEANT TO SAY “BRINGING” AND U GET THE POINT I’M SURE!!! GREAT DAY TO BE A FAN OF TEBOW’S!!! LOTS OF LUCK TO THE NFL, THEY ARE GOING TO NEED IT, HAHAHA!!!:D MORE FANS THAN NOT FOR T2!!! GO TEBOW!!!

  10. RICK says:

    John Fox seriously!

If anyone knows Timmys limitations its him.

Timmy should go to the CFL so once and for all this he is entitled to be an NFL starter is settled.

I truly believe he will struggle to start even in the CFL, hes too slow.

What he should be doing getting ready to start his gig at SEC nation and GMA!

Not to many 4 time NFL cut players has those opportunity

    • Mike says:

      Rick,
This is a pro-Tebow site. I know you enjoy bashing Tebow to his fans. But for you to take the time to go to a pro-tebow website and leave these types of posts shows some pain that you must be feeling at home. I am sorry for whatever has happened in your life, and I am sorry for whoever has let you down. I really am. Go read the book of John and find some peace.

      • ck says:

Mike: Thanks for stating what apparently is wrong w/Mr. Happy Land, lol!
Think he needs to go find a site that is ANTI instead of PRO IMO!!!

  11. RICK says:

Just stating the obvious there Mike, John Fox already knows what Timmy offers.

Plus if you read my posts I never say Timmy is bad person or that he shouldn’t have had a shot in the NFL.

MY point is and always will be you his fans are why Timmy sits unemployed from the NFL!!

Like I said name another 4 time cut NFL player that has the job opportunity that Timmy has waiting, Timmy can thank you his fans for that. He was a great college player arguably the best but the NFL is a different league he simply didn’t translate to an NFL QB period. Lots of players have had the same fate Vince Young Archie Griffith to name a few Ty Detemer, its just none of them were treated like your boy Timmy you all felt he should be entitled.

Anyway God bless the Denver Broncos and thank you John Elway

  12. ck says:

Buzzy when ru going to cut this massive crapper off of this site? You are going to experience some mass exodus if u allow anti-Tebow types on here and can’t believe Mr. JA is now allowed, yet, again JMO!!!:(
