All the poor QB yesterday.. BRADFORD ON THE BIG STAGE.. WHAT IF HE PUULS A BIG BEN AND CANT SCORE IN THE RED ZONE…GHOST OF TBOY HOVERING?

    • jp says:

Bradford immoble telegrahing throw into zone. Tboy special extend play run or throw a big one. Bet MURRY WISHING FOR TBOY Bradford having trouble with pressure

  2. Sage says:

Bradford played so well for 12 minutes during the preseason. Regular season is just a technicality. Give him MVP now.

    • jp says:

DO WE HAVE ANOTHER JAY CUTLER… PHIIY WOULD GO NUTS IF TBOY CAME IN AND PULL ANOTHER MON NITE.. BUT HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR KELLY

  3. Adam says:

I love that Philly is getting hammered. Is there any news/rumors on teams like Cleveland, Washington, Houston looking at Tebow?

  4. Danny says:

and…a couple of runs at the end of the half FINALLY puts the Eagles into positive rushing yardage!

    Huh

  5. Danny says:

Bradford throws an INT deep in their own zone late in the half, then the Falcons with a VERY short drive for a late 1st half TD

Doesn’t get much worse than this

    • ck says:

No it doesn’t and this is what happens when you don’t have a WINNING QB ON YOUR TEAM…OH WAIT, YOU DID HAVE ONE AND IT WAS TEBOW!!! HOW’S THAT WORKING FOR YOU, GENIUS?!!
Buzzy Says : Don’t be Stealing my HOW’S THAT WORKING FOR YOU 😉

    • Danny says:

That pick in the 1st half turned out to be the difference tonight. It looks a LOT bigger now that the whole game can be viewed in context.

  6. jp says:

RYAN THROWS STUPID PICK.. PUTS EAGLES BACK IN THE GAME..ANOTHER DUD QB THAT BLOWS GAMES .. DOIN DUMB THINGS THAT ALL THE BIG MOUTHS CLAIM T DOES..WE ARE ALL GOING TO GO NUTS WATCHING FOOTBALL THIS YEAR WATCHING IDIOT NO TALENT QBS

  7. Danny says:

Bradford INT to end it for the Eagles tonight

  8. David says:

Bradford is intercepted on a short pass over the middle with 1:12 to go. Falcons are up 26-24. Nothing to do bur run the clock.

  9. Sage says:

So nice to see Chip’s wonder boy throw his second pick and dig a whole for the Eagles.

When Chip signed Tebow for training camp, I expected to respect him regardless the outcome, but what a d*** for kicking Tim on the way out the door.

0-1 in NFC, Chip. 2 picks for wonder boy.

    • ck says:

Did not watch the game and glad I wasn’t disappointed finding out the outcome on this site! Respect is a two-way street…deserved disrespect after his actions finally revealed that he was less than honorable.

  10. jp says:

TEBOW KARMA..PHII DOESNT MAKE PLAYOFFS..SOMEBODY PICKS UP TEBOW

  11. David says:

1st time in 5 years, the Eagles lose their opener. 26-24. My team won, that’s any team that plays the Eagles.

  12. lex says:

this game result is poetic justice. bad karma for the eagles now.

  13. David says:

Bradford is dinking and dunking with 9.3 yards per completion. He was 36 of 52 with 1 TD and 2 interceptions, 336 yards. He had a great completion percentage with lots of yards and no scores. The Eagles are now the Rams and the Rams beat Seattle with Foles. Just like with Manning, if you live by the dink and dunk, you die by the dink and dunk, expecially in the playoffs.

Remember what I posted a week ago?
You will see Bradford throw a lot of short stuff, the defenses will stuff the run and let Bradford throw between the 20’s all day and the Eagles will lose a lot of games. IF he gets hurt, Sanchez will come in and get his usual 26 turnovers a season and the Eagles will lose more games. After that, Kelly has no where to turn. It’s over.

    • Danny says:

Yep, that what it boiled down to: Bradford running up yards with not enough production to win. Both INT’s deep in their own zone.

Sanchez is known for throwing the same kind of balls in critical times with bad results like Bradford tonight.

Where’s the guy that can help this team? Kelly said “not good enough”

      • David says:

This is probably a high powered offense with Tebow running it. It’s like giving Bradford a Ferrari and watching him never shift it out of first gear. OC Shurmur was Bradford’s offensive coordinator in St. Louis in 2010 when he averaged 9.92 yards per completion with 18 TDs in 590 attempts over 16 games. It didn’t work then and now they are doing it again with 9.3 yards per completion. Tebow threw 17.2 yards per completion against the Jets with 2 TDs in 11 catches.
        Buzzy Says: Mr Checkdown

      • Danny says:

That’s probably the best analogy I’ve heard so far on the potential of this offense. Kelly can’t zone read with Bradford and basic handoffs out of the shotgun will get stuffed more often than not. Bradford will have to throw 50 times a game like he did tonight to even make the Eagles competitive. 27 out of the 63 yards on the ground tonight came on one run by Sproles. Only 16 rushing plays tonight, way too one dimensional passing to have any long term success.

Tebow on the zone read; who’s going to get the ball? Murray? Sproles? Matthews? Tebow? Defense isn’t going to know for sure…If the corners cheat up, that’s one on one with Cooper or Agholor or Ertz; gotta like those odds no matter how you look at it.

If I might add to your analogy, it’s Bradford driving a Ferrari in first gear with the gas pedal all the way down, burning up gas and making a lot of noise but not going anywhere.

  14. Danny says:

    Murray 8 carries 9 yards…BIG MONEY $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Bet he misses what might have been with TT

    • jp says:

DAVID SPOT ON.. IMANGINE T ADDED TO MURRAY SPROLES MATTHRWS COOPER…BIG PLAYS .NOT DINK AND DUNK.. T COULD RUN A HUNDRED MULTIPLE TIMES…

    • David says:

Murray scored a TD but 8 carries for 9 yards. Wow! Wait, the TD run was for 8 yards. That means he had 1 yard rushing on the other 7 carries. When they said the running was going to be downhill, I didn’t know this is what they meant.

  15. Danny says:

Breaking from ESP: Bradford walked in to get an x-ray. No word on how serious

  16. ck says:

Buzzy reporting Bradford w/3&outs…that sounds like Barkley! Oh wait, he’s “NOT GOOD ENOUGH”!

  17. bubbaelvis says:

I always felt that it was Shurmur who didn’t want Tim. I don’t really have anything solid to base that on. It is just a feeling I got when I listened to Chip say nice things and counter the naysayers and then Shurmer would walk it back a little in his interview. What I mean is Chip would point out that Tebow didn’t have anyone open or receivers ran wrong pattern. Shurmur wouldn’t do that and would often build up Bradford.
Anyway, it is sad because even if Bradford got hurt they wouldn’t bring back Tim. Chip is too proud to bring him back after saying he is not good enough. It is a shame because I think Tim would absolutely kill it in this offense.

    • jp says:

Bradford now 18_31_1 in the Nfl
..T thing could be fan drumbeat to replace Bradford and Kelly and shumur don’t want to deal with it… Rather lose… I think Dallas O line is going to shred the Birds.. Kelly did not want to face the ptessure of a slow start with T ON THE TEAM.. BIRD FANS MIGHT BE FACING A CUTLER TYPE SITUATION FOR THE NEXT FIVE YEARS

    • David says:

Shurmur was probably the major reason that Kelly was talked in to trading Foles for Bradford. I bet he didn’t know that he is a checkdown charlie, but Shurmur actually trained him in his rookie season. Kelly may have to get rid of both of them to fix this problem.

    • David says:

About half way thru, they get down to analyzing Bradford’s game. They say that in St. Louis 70% of his passes were for less than 10 yards and he only threw 1 pass in the Falcons game that was over 20 yards and you can’t win with that. They are figuring it out.

The deep passing game and zone read running game left town with Tim Tebow.

  18. Andrea says:

Karma is all I have to say.

  19. David says:

    Eliot Shorr-Parks ✔ @EliotShorrParks
Of Sam Bradford’s 52 attempts, he completed 4 passes over 9 yards. #Eagles

  20. Danny says:

From ESP: “Bradford said first INT was bad read, & he was right. His eyes were locked on Ertz whole time.”

Isn’t that the Tebow knock we heard all preseason, locked in on one receiver? And Bradford will start next week???

The same blind fans who will excuse Bradford are the same ones who bash Tebow.

As I said before, Kelly made his bed, now he has to sleep in it.

  21. Pamelot says:

All I have to say (and this is childish, admittedly) is ha-ha-ha-ha-ha.

    • ck says:

Pamelot: Guess the NFL has a way of bringing that out in a lot of us, HAHAHA! Couldn’t agree more where the Eagles are concerned due to the juvenile antics via Kelly!!! So much for taking the high road and sometimes they need to get a dose of what they embrace for all the world to see imo! Lessons learned and will not trust another coach who says all the right things…only actions count from here on out!!!
