Yeah Bradford gives us the best chance to win, lol, being sarcastic!

  2. David says:

Riley Cooper was wide open in the end zone when Bradford threw that interception to a covered receiver. It looks like Bradford is averaging 8.2 yards per completion today. It’s DINK and DUNK with -4 yards rushing with 8 min left in the game. Stick a fork in the Eagles, they are done!

  3. Danny says:

Two “epic” “elite” QB’s slugging it out…..
Right now Eagles -4 (yes, MINUS 4 in rushing)! Murray -9 yards on 10 carries…wow

Five minutes left in the 4th and Bradford at 116 yards passing, yep that’s elite (eyeroll)

  4. David says:

Tony Romo has a fractured left clavicle or collarbone.

  5. Danny says:

And..another INT thrown by Bradford, 2 today

  6. jp says:

“TEBOW IS OUT THERE PHIL SO
SHOULD SIGN HIM” ANNOUNCES MIHT GET PHILLY FANS TALKING

    • tawk2 says:

Chip Kelley won’t resign Tim, to full of himself! With Tebow out there today they would have won!

      • jp says:

Whats wrong with -MURRAY RUNNING 170 YRDS WITHT T RUNNING A HUNDRED AND NO TURNOVERS.. PHILLY WOULD RATHER HAVE A BIG STAGE CHOKE WHO IS IMMOBLE RUN THE READ

      • ck says:

Tawk2: The Eagles are off to a great start without Tebow…maybe they should give the Jax QB the job and see if he is still “GOOD ENOUGH” since SB appears not to be and they can forget Sanchez jmo?!!

    • Danny says:

Kelly slammed the door pretty hard on Tebow, don’t know how he can backpedal out of that to save face.

Right now, all the QB’s on that roster “not good enough”

    • David says:

Dallas has to replace Romo now. They will sign someone. If they want to go to the playoffs they better sign Tebow.

      • Danny says:

Thinking you’re right..Eagles/Cowboys are big rivals and Jerry Jones might do that just to tweak the Eagles.

Certainly Weeden is NOT the long term solution here.

        Mr. Jones, your move.

  7. lex says:

i hope that twitter lights up tonight. the eagles are a disaster.

did i hear one of the tv announcers correctly saying that maybe kelly will consider re-signing tebow?

  8. Danny says:

Cowboys without Romo for much of the game and Dez Bryant too and the Eagles STILL lost?

  9. lex says:

was it danny or david who said that the eagles would be 0-2? i hope i didn’t leave anyone out. you guys know your football stuff.

this is going to be an interesting night/week re tebow coming back??

we can all pray that he will…

  10. Danny says:

    Bradford:

    18-32-1 lifetime record
    2 INTS today
    Lost funble
    High throws
Checkdowns – seriously, I don’t think he can get the ball downfield
Grade F by ESP today – I’m thinking that might be a little generous lol

He led the Eagles rushing with 9 yards, I guess that’s something

    Team total rushing 7 yards today! 72 for the season after 2 games…not impressive at all. This was supposed to be a high powered rushing offense;

I recall in preseason that Eagles had 238 yards rushing in one game and Tebow led offense had half of that in one quarter of play

    • David says:

Thanks, I think you nailed it. The deep passing game and the zone read running game left town with Tim Tebow.

      • ck says:

David: Unfortunately for the Eagles and their fans that is very TRUE! Wonder how Barkley is doing and maybe he will get another call then they can more than guarantee no PLAYOFFS!

    • ck says:

Danny: Going to have to check out the grade for SB and bet Tebow rated better had he been in the game…What was Kelly thinking?

    • ck says:

Danny: He plays A LOT DIFFERENT UNDER PRESSURE AND KELLY IS GETTING AN EYE OPENER ON THIS…’DON’T CUT YOUR NOSE OFF TO SPITE YOUR FACE” AND IS THAT EVER FITTING IMO!!!

  11. David says:

    Mark Eckel Instant Analysis
    http://www.nj.com/eagles/index.ssf/2015/09/_instant_analysis_3.html

“Divine Intervention?: The Eagles haven’t won since they cut Tim Tebow. Just saying. “

    • Danny says:

Eckel DIDN’T have to put that in there, but the fact that he DID speaks volumes!

      Nicely played!

      LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!

      Comment of the night!

      • David says:

I’ve been praying that God would take up Tim’s fight and defend him and God is good.

        • Danny says:

Absolutely David, I do think and pray for Tim often. I just pray that Tim will find favor in all this and be lifted up. He’s done his part, getting prepared and improving each day.

It was obviously apparent with his time with the Eagles that Tim was just as bold with his faith as he was before. The fire he’s been through has only made him stronger.

I know that God can do great things! The power of prayer can change what seems to be impossible situations.

    • ck says:

David: Like Eckel and is he ever right too! Divine justice and then some.

    • ck says:

David: Like what Eckel put in his column: “Interior Decorating, Good to the Last Drop, No Place Like Home and the all-time classic: Divine Intervention”?! Not to mention, he called the game EMBARRASSING! Now, that guy has a GIFT!
Plus, there clearly appears to be NO LEADERSHIP W/SB LIKE THERE WAS W/TEBOW
      IMO!!!

  12. DeLVen says:

Jay Cutler, Bears, QB injured, Jim Claussen back up did not perform well. Fox and Gase both familiar with Tebow. I wonder if they will finally reach out to TT?

    • Sage says:

Not surprised at all that Fox is where he was prior to Tebow and Manning. He’s got to know in his heart that Tebow is better than Clausen or other available talent.

    • Danny says:

The only thing that bothers me a bit about JF is that I’m not convinced that he really understood what he had in Tebow. I could be mistaken, but in looking back, some of it was good coaching/play calling, but Tebow by his presence and leadership brought the Broncos from the brink of a losing season to the AFC championship game.

Manning was available in 2012 and signing him was a little risky at the time because of his neck injury. As it turned out, Manning and the Broncos routinely rock the regular season and mostly struggle in the playoffs. One SB appearance that started and ended horribly for Manning. So far, considering the price that was paid to get Manning, not a great investment for Elway and the Broncos.

Could Fox have fought a little harder to invest more time in Tebow’s future with the Broncos? At the worst, they are in the same position as they are now, no SB wins since Elway. Did Fox fight for Tebow at all? Those questions seem to be unanswered.

At any rate, Fox’s career certainly has benefited from that great season of 2011 and has been riding that wave ever since.

You’ll get varying opinions on JF out here at TZ but that’s my thoughts.

      • ck says:

Danny: “Actions speak louder than words” and JF did not do right by Tebow imo. Tebow has given a lot more than he has received and that is what Buddy Martin (GridIron Now) stated also. Somebody also stated that PM never won a game against the Gators (Danny W.) and that was his way of getting back by not wanting to have Tebow there…let’s not forget Elrot who couldn’t wait to implement his “dirty deeds” in order to protect his so called “legacy” b/c Tebow would surely have surpassed him easily and already had broken Bronco Records! At least the Bronco Fans appreciated Tebow and pressured them to play him so they could at least get to the playoffs and WIN IT!!!

  13. jp says:

Chgo will never take T POSTED EARIER TALKERS RIDICULING ALL THE T CALLERS PHILLY RADIO BLAMING O LINE… KELLY TOO..SO TYPICAL THEY WONT ADMIT BRAD CAN’T HANDLE ANY PTESSURE..BIG PLAYS ALL OVER THE FIELD FOR TT.. ERNST AND COOPER OPEN ALL DAY TT WOULD HAVE FOUND THEM… WORN THE DEF OUT BY EXTENDING PLAYS GOT MURRY OFF WITH SCREENS..IF PHILLY DOESNT FORCE TT LIKE DEN FANS THEY DESERVE KELLY

    • Danny says:

Well, the Anyone But Tebow crowd is certainly out in force, aren’t they? The narrative of the hiveminds that hate Tebow are old and tired. They are so predictable it isn’t even funny.

Tebow was able to work with an OL that was certainly less talented then the ones on the current roster and seemed to do pretty well with it.

Absolutely Murray would be benefiting from zone read, something Bradford CAN”T do!

Missing open receivers, fumbles, interceptions, can’t get the football downfield…all Bradford.

  14. David says:

    Search for Tebow tweets.

If I’m Jerry Jones, I bring in Tebow just to add a little short-term intangible spark to an offense that now needs to RUN THE BALL.

  15. David says:

This is a poll asking Should the Dallas Cowboys sign Tim Tebow? Go vote.

    98% yes

    http://pantherlair.sportsblog.com/posts/4148043/poll-with-romo-out-should-the-cowboys-sign-tim-tebow-.html

    • ck says:

David: Not surprised about them wanting Tebow b/c they obviously would benefit from a WINNER! On another note, there is a poll on the same site afterwards asking if they should fire Chip Kelly and there are currently 86% stating YES! Doesn’t look good for Mr. Genius who threw away his only chance to WIN W/A WINNING PROFESSIONAL NFL QB…TEBOW IS MORE THAN “GOOD ENOUGH’ AND WOULD LEAVE THEM ALL IN HIS DUST ON THE WAY TO THE SB JMO!!!

      • David says:

ck, missed that. I’m seeing a lot of posts saying that Kelly
        …should go to the CFL
…is not good enough to coach in the NFL
        I added
…Kelly is “not good enough” for the CFL

        • ck says:

David: Have to agree w/that and off to the CFL taking his own misguided advide…quite funny!:)

          • ck says:

oops…advice. Like your comment about the CFL and he is laughable at this point!

          • David says:

I’d be shocked at this point if he manages to pull it together. The Eagles are 3 games down in their own conference division. Dallas is 2-0 and the Eagles are 0-1 in the conference and then there is the tie breaker. Romo going down might change things some. The non-conference games don’t matter because he won’t win enough to get a wildcard spot. They went 10-6 last year and didn’t get one.

  16. David says:

NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport reports the Cowboys reached out to free agent Kyle Orton, but that he’s “still finished with football.”
The Cowboys need to sign a No. 2 behind Brandon Weeden. Orton is on his second retirement, but appears to mean it this time. Orton was a replacement-level starter for the Bills last season. Dallas will most likely settle on promoting Kellen Moore from the practice squad to back up Weeden.
    http://www.rotoworld.com/playernews/nfl/football-player-news?rw=1

    Bob Strum has this opinion
Should the Cowboys sign a free-agent QB like Tim Tebow or trade for Robert Griffin III?
In the fantasy world of scanning the football galaxy for a QBs for a new home that makes sense. But the reality is, in mid September, to pull somebody into your offense, teach it to them, get them out on the field, that has to be a 6-8 week process. You cant do it in two weeks, it can’t be done. The timetable of Romo’s return might be in the same vicinity of getting whoever ready to play. Playing QB in any system is too complex to learn it in two weeks. From that standpoint, Weeden is the best you can hope for — with Kellen Moore backing him up, I assume.

  17. andrea says:

I have to agree with tawk2 – KARMA big time !!! The Eagles game could have been worse yesterday – they could have put in Mark “Buttfumble” Sanchez.

  18. Danny says:

Well Well Well, the Eagles have RELEASED Stephen Morris and signed Thad Lewis!

The Eagles have now solved their QB problems and all their other issues…

    LOL

    Not.

    What a dysfunctional team

    • David says:

Anybody but Tebow. Lewis had a 56.8 QBR in preseason with 0 TDs and 2 ints. Tebow was 90.7
      http://www.nfl.com/player/thadlewis/497121/gamelogs

      • Danny says:

Top 3 Reasons that Chip signed Thad Lewis:

        1. Chip OBVIOUSLY dialed the wrong number on his cell phone, right? Thad and Tim are awful close in the contact list.

        2. Kelly likes to sign 3rd string QB’s from horrible teams (Jax/Cleveland)

        3. Fear of QB’s through the deep ball

        Yep, Anyone But Tebow

Fans are going to start chanting “Not Good Enough” in a couple of games if the Eagles don’t turn this thing around.

        • Danny says:

          through=throw

          stupid spellcheck LOL

          • Sage says:

Maybe after he’s searched frantically enough, he’ll have an excuse to sign Tebow again. Not counting on it, but he needs cover before that could happen.

          • Sage says:

And, to put it another way, Chip Kelly may be in the process of demonstrating he is Captain Queeg, crossing his tow lines.

It’s not that different from John Fox in 2011. Elway was leaking stories to Michael Silver and Rick Reilly that Tebow was actually 4th string, beind Adam Weber (if I’m recalling his name correctly). Orton’s deep failure triggered an attempt by Fox to silence the Tebow lobby.

The point is, Tebow’s only NFL opportunity came in time of crisis. Thad Lewis is a harbinger of time of crisis.

          • Danny says:

Sage: Like you say, the percentages are small that’s what Chip is intending, but the cover aspect is interesting. Kelly can’t save face right now if he released Morris and brought back Tebow. That would be admitting a mistake, something he is not known to do. I would like to think that there is something brewing in the background, but I’ve seen this song and dance many times. If I’m wrong, I will be the first one out here to admit it and write something very supportive.

      • Danny says:

Not to mention trading for “1st” string QB’s from bad teams…

How’s that working out for you Mr. Kelly????? Hmmmmmmmm?

  19. Bigfan says:

Like to see him on “America’s team” but ain’t gonna happen…? The Bears and Foxy are a better fit…been there done that.

    • ck says:

Bigfan: Not much into betting, but I’m willing to place a “safe” bet that if some team does not sign Tebow then they are going to lose!

  20. Pamelot says:

    Who’s sorry nowwwwwwwwwwwww? 😀

  21. lex says:

i wonder if tim can be released from the espn/sec network broadcast booth?

that is a big question, as well.

    • Larry says:

“i wonder if tim can be released from the espn/sec network broadcast booth?”

Tim has an opt-out clause in his ESPN/SECN contract, which is why he was able to be signed by the Eagles. His contract isn’t an issue.

  22. lex says:

    thanks, larry.
