Philadelphia Eagles Rumors: Coach Chip Kelly impressively believes in Tim Tebow significant improvements as quarterback will battle for starter job

Many American Football analysts and sports enthusiasts had their doubts when Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly brought quarterback Tim Tebow back to the National Football League (NFL) from the SEC Network, but the franchise’s coach told the reporters that it’s going really well for the former University of Florida superstar.

From the Delaware County Times:

“I have seen an improvement from Tim since the day we got him in terms of his knowledge of what we’re doing, understanding where everybody is,” head coach Chip Kelly said. “There’s a whole process, and for him what we have done is different than what he’s done anywhere else. So in terms of learning our terminology and how we do things, I think each week you’ve seen an incremental bump in him, so we’re excited to see where that takes him and it’ll be a good competition as we get into August.”

“We worked [Tebow] out and we saw improvement from the last time we saw him, had exposure to him live when we played New England when they practice here. When we worked him out, we saw a great deal of improvement with him.” Quarterback Tebow’s experience shouldn’t be that surprisingly shocking, and there’s never been any doubt regarding his professionalism on the league and off the field. However, improvement guarantees nothing, which means that Tebow faces long odds to make it to the Philadelphia Eagles’ final 53-man roster.

Since his last appearance in a game for the New York Jets dating back in 2012, Tebow joined the ESPN as an analyst for the SEC Network in 2014, where he primarily worked on “SEC Nation.”

Tim Tebow was originally a first-round selection (25th overall) of the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL Draft, the 6-foot-3, 236-pound quarterback has appeared in 35 games with 16 starts.
