It’s been an eventful few weeks for 10-year-old Deven Jackson of Perry County.

Two weeks ago, he played in a midget football game, three years after losing both legs to a rare illness.

And on Wednesday, he got to hang out with former Heisman trophy winner and NFL quarterback Tim Tebow.

Tebow spent the day with Jackson and his family at their home, hanging out and even tossing a football.

Tebow was in town to do a story on Jackson for Good Morning America, which is set to air on Monday. Tebow also spoke to Jackson’s midget football team.

The league is trying to raise $10,000 to purchase the proper equipment for Jackson. If you would like to donate, you can do so at the Bank of Landisburg. Just ask for the Deven Jackson Football fund.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.
