St. Louis Rams Should Not Call Tim Tebow Under Any Circumstance

It didn’t take long after Sam Bradford was announced out for the season with a torn ACL for the media and fans alike to start speculating that the St. Louis Rams could possibly be targeting Tim Tebow, and apparently the Rams considered it last season after Bradford suffered the same injury according to Pro Football Talk.

It’s a great sentiment as Tebow is one of the most beloved players to ever step on an NFL field, but in reality, the move would be very foolish from a football standpoint. Tebow will never be a first option as a professional quarterback, and adding another backup into the mix with Austin Davis and Garrett Gilbert makes little to no sense.

The veteran Shaun Hill will be the starter until further notice, which is the smartest move. Hill knows the Rams’ system and has impressed at times during the preseason for St. Louis. Bringing in someone with a ton to learn in an impossibly-inadequate time frame is foolish at best.

Perhaps if the Rams are not completely happy with either Davis or Gilbert filling out the depth chart they could monitor which quarterbacks are available after the rest of the league finalizes their 53-man rosters, but for now, St. Louis will go with what they have.

The only call St. Louis should make to Tebow is one to ask him for prayers that Bradford will have a speedy recovery.

In every other Major Pro Sports League, it’s an anomaly that draws criticism and sometimes even fire when a Team acts like the Fans desires aren’t important. Jeffrey Loria’s name jumped into the same category’s as Fidel Castro in South Florida when he made the decision to make wholesale trades and go for a younger, cheaper crew. Virtually the entire Baseball Media shouted a collective “Amen!” to Marlins’ Fans anger and it became adopted across the league as baseball Fans anger at thoughtless, selfish Owners. This even as Loria had his “Advisers” all saying as far as a “Baseball Move” was concerned, it was the smart thing to do. Many of the most respected Baseball Analysts and Commentators agreed with that assessment which may prove to be correct. There’s certainly no reason at this point to question the judgment. Only the callousness toward the fans wishes. And, for Baseball, that was enough to leap to Fans defense.

No Pro Sports League does entirely right by the Fans. But in every one EXCEPT the NFL, at least appearing to do right (or trying to) is huge…It is simply expected behavior if a Sports Franchise wants to have the support of the Fans AND of the Media that covers them.

Then we have the NFL where it is treated as beneath the dignity to give a hoot what the fans wishes are. It is something to be mocked, derided, ridiculed and anyone who stands up for the Fans, someone to be attacked with vigor as just “not getting it” or being ignorant of the Game or simply an “idiot”.

St Louis Fans have clamored for Tim even on the Rams own Facebook Page in droves…for several years. When Jeff Fisher advocated giving Tim a look last year he was quickly shot down by the Rams GM. There wasn’t the slightest consideration that there we had a Head Coach who was interested or at least curious and a Fan Base that was calling out for Tim. The very idea was treated as having to be a joke.

The NFL has ALOT of problems that have filtered down throughout the ranks and infected the Media. But none more pressing to come in and just flat out exterminate than it’s loathing the notion Fans should be taken seriously. More seriously then everything else combined for without them, there is no league. Fans are the indispensable piece of the equation that attracts all the other pieces. The NFL has made it very clear they won’t give them more than lip service while simultaneously treating them like a mob of dolts and chumps who must be led around by their ATM Cards.

That has to stop and NFL Media has to begin insisting it stops before Football Fans decide they don’t need either the NFL OR the Media that covers them. That day will come sooner or later.

It is interesting, that EVEN the news POSSIBLITY of consideration
of Tim Tebow as a possible QB for St Louis is
so consistently and OVERWHELMING A SHOUT DOWN THAT IS LOUD and Negative.

Coincidently in Syncronization with the ELitist NFL Owners,
Their Lackey GMS and The Liberal Anti-Christ News MEDIA and the
OBVIOUS CONTINUING POLICY OF NFL BLACKBALLING OF TIM TEBOW AS NFL QB:

The Historical Circumstances – have NOT CHANGED, THEY STILL show the Overwhelming Evidence of the REALITY OF THE – NFL Elitist Owners /Newsmedia’s Campaign to Keep Tim Tebow from any real opportunity to become an NFL QB!

That is why all concerned Christians – Should Boycott the NFL.
    ENOUGH IS ENOUGH !

Because of this ANTI-CHRIST Purge of the: “TOO VISIBLE FOR CHRIST – CHRISTIAN, NFL QB Tim Tebow – Being effectively BLACKBALLED FROM NFL – NO NFL QB – Fair Try – WILL BE THUS be ALLOWED –
NO! NOT! AN OPTION FOR TIM TEBOW !

NFL $$ Controllers: TIM TEBOW IS JUST TOO CHRISTIAN FOR THEM –
HE HAS EXCEEDED THEIR PERMISSIBLE “CHRISTIAN VISIBILITY” LIMITS!
THUS – HE WILL BE Effectively BLACKBALLED FROM the NFL – NO Fair Try At NFL QB FOR HIM !

(JUST AN OPTION FOR LIES, MISREPRESENTATIONS AND ABUSE AS DEMONSTRATED BY DARK SIDE – “COACH” REX RYAN…)

AGAIN !! STILL !! WHY ELSE IS HE SUCH A TARGET !! UNPRECEDENTED !!
