Big Ben was confused.

Ben Roethlisberger was expecting more with the Steeler’s early choices in early May’s NFL Draft.
Pittsburgh passed on getting its star quarterback some receiver help in the first and second round, instead going with linebacker Ryan Shazier and defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt. Well, that didn’t sit well with Big Ben at first.

“I got caught up in doing what I always say not to do, and that’s listen to the media,” Roethlisberger told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Big Ben must have been spending his downtime watching draft coverage across various media platforms, many of which predicted the Steelers would go with a wide receiver early. But when the draft rolled around, the Black and Gold waited until the third round to address the offense, selecting running back Dri Archer. Then, they followed that pick up with wide receiver Martavis Bryant in the fourth round.

“(The Steelers) obviously have their agenda, the things they want, and they got two guys that they felt can help this team,” Roethlisberger said.

A word to the wise: Ben might want to trust his team when it comes to the draft. The Steelers have had success finding receiving gems later in the draft, having selected such weapons as Mike Wallace, Emmanuel Sanders and Antonio Brown in the third round or late in recent years.

Of course, Wallace and Sanders are now gone, but the team’s track record of solid scouting can’t be disparaged. But Roethlisberger seems to be fine with everything now, so life can go on.

Buzzy Says : Big Ben was the Nix to the Tebow try out this year as the runor goes .

Never cared for Big Ben, I still have issues with him getting away with sexual assaults on several women. I loose all respect for people who do those awful things, I am a sexual assault/abuse survivor so I am very passionate about trying to stop these heinous acts.

On another note here is an article off topic about the state I live in, Maryland and a new law that will go into effect this coming Oct, I am outraged!

Part of the law gives transgender persons to use the public restroom of their choice, meaning that a man can go into the women’s bathroom and use it and no one can even stop them. This will open the door for pedophiles and rapist and even stalkers to enter the women’s restroom with no questions. What a bunch of bull! Our daughter and I will not use these public restrooms anymore if this law is not repealed!

Why doesn’t MD install another restroom with a triangle with a question mark in the center for those who are not sure what sex they are.

Sorry to vent, I just don’t know what this world is coming to!

Here is the link to the story about trying to repeal this new law.

unfortunately, Tawk2 I also live in Maryland. This state is a disgrace. Since my mother is still alive and all her family lives here I will stay for the time being. Once the Lord calls her home – I am outta here.

I always read this “Blog” ,but rarely comment. The Big Ben rumor is really low if true.I guess trashy people do trashy things. To make myself feel better about all the bad Tebow news,I have my own fun.I call a teams ticket department and tell them I will buy 4 club level season tickets as soon as they sign Tebow.I give them my name and #s to be sure and call me.The nice young ticket salesmen call me once a month and I get to say no all over again.Last year it was Jacksonville. This year I chose Tampa.I know this does no good, but I have a great time .Jason(from Jacksonville) told me on a slow day he would just call me cuz I was his favorite no call.I would buy the tickets if they had Tebow .This is my way of letting these teams know at least one person is still waiting for Tebow

It’s great to keep them informed, and it may do more good than you think.

I’m afraid when I wrote my letter to the Broncos in 2011 it just pissed elway off, and that I’m therefore the reason they ran Tebow out of town. Well, hopefully not.

Elway has a restaurant in Vail.I refuse to go eat there.Wish my not going there would make it close. So far no luck.
