    Elway’s a fool.

  2. andrea says:

If Peyton Manning had any honor or dignity – he would retire effective Monday February 3rd.

If Elway had any sense of honor or dignity – he would resign effective February 3rd.Not going to happen because Elway is a slimy weasel.

The one person I have no pity or sorrow for is the Bronco’s owner Pat Bowlen. He paid out $90 million dollars to defraud the Broncos fans of a positive future with Tim Tebow. I hope Bowlen goes bankrupt.

This Bronco’s team was a disgrace.

    • ck says:

Andrea I agree b/c he stopped having any of the above when he took Tebow’s Team over and it was clearly TEBOW’S EFFORTS THAT INSPIRED THAT LOSING TEAM! JUST DESSERTS IN MY BOOK!!! SAME FOR ELROT & CO.!!!:D

I WANT TO BE ONE OF THE SEAHAWKS FAN AS THEY APPRECIATE THEM AS THE 12TH MAN!!! CONGRATS AND KUDOS TO THE TEAM AND THEIR IMPRESSIVE COACH!!!

    • David Oliver says:

I remember the dismayed look on John Elway’s Face in the video of him in his Elite Glass Enclosed Booth – when his Denver QB TIM Tebow ran 20 yards around end for a TD to win a game on the way to the Play-OFFS.

I did NOT understand then why the lack of JOY and the obvious Sadness – until the fruition of his plan to dump Tebow and Pay the Big $$ to get Peyton Manning to guarantee his winning a Super Bowl–>

They did show a quick glance of his face today – and I DID not see the great Joy – that he had expected to experience – Just Sadness ->
      Justice prevails !!

Go Tebow – Someone will have the guts to give you a real opportunity
to compete for an NFL team starting QB position.

      • ck says:

David Oliver: Now, that is what I wanted to see…Elrot’s face! Missed that one and hope to see it on a replay. Right about the “JUSTICE PREVAILS” AND THANKING GOD IT DOES, EVENTUALLY!!!
(I remember that moment when everyone questioned how he could not be for his QB who was winning which was T2 and he is still as disgusting without any sense of genuineness whatsoever and being one big deceitful piece of work!!! Guess THEY NEED TO CONSIDER THIS TO BE THEIR LAST HURRAH OR MAYBE DO WHAT THEY TRIED ON T2 AS IN “ride the pine”…PM/Elrot/Fox/Bowlen!)

      • Sage says:

That point after the Jets game was so real and so telling. I didn’t want to believe it. But the dumping of Tebow was like a slow motion train wreck.

Elway has a large ego and need for adulation. If I had to guess Elway’s preferences, the Super Bowl slaughter is tolerable to him because Manning gets pushed down the ranks of all-time greats. If Manning had won, then Elway would have had the accolades for having brought him to the Broncos.

With Tebow, there was neither such satisfaction. Tebow would have eclipsed Elway as a Broncos immortal, and Elway couldn’t even take credit for Tebow.

        • David Oliver says:

Sage – Your logic – RINGS TRUE !

          GO TEBOW !

        • Brandi says:

John Elway had to do only one thing. Listen to his Dad.

More than perhaps anyone else, Jack Elway is responsible for the Option Offenses we see emerging in the NFL today. He said in the 80s that the Offenses beginning to take hold in the NFL were going to hit a wall. That the dimensions of the Field and the basic limits of Human Athleticism would catch up with them. And they did.

He was the first big proponent of the type of Option Offenses first popularized by Urban Meyer and now entering the NFL. John Elway could have laid his Legacy in the NFL as having been the architect of changing the face of Football in the NFL for the next 20-30 years.

Instead, he wanted himself on the Field and, unable to have that, went with his next best choice.

          • Sage says:

Yes. I’ve seen some annecdotes to show how narcisism affects Elway. (And I don’t say that disparagingly. I don’t know how you’d be a HOF quarterback with so much acclaim throughout life withoout becoming addicted.)

Elway drafted Brock Osweiler before Russel Wilson was drafted. Why? Because Brock beat out Elway’s son, Jack, at Arizona State. So Osweiler must be great, right?

And Elway said he wanted to be able to hand the Lombardi to Bowlen. Bowlen has already handed John the Lombardi twice. So what is this about Elway handing the trophy, other than Elway’s excuse for wanting to be in the middle of things?

Watching the Broncos blogs in 2011, it was apparent that Elway was feeding rather vicious stories to Michael Silver and Rick Reilly about Tebow. There was an ego clash from the word go.

            Did you see this tweet?

            James Merilatt ‏@jamesmerilatt 6h
23 John Elway draft picks combined for 6 carries for 1 yard, 6 catches for 29 yards and 23 tackles in SB48. Abysmal.

Compare that to McDaniels, whose 2 years as a newbie HC produced vital Broncos players including D.Thomas, Decker, Beadles, Moreno, Ayers.

Elway will probably bow out when the going gets rough. He wants to be popular. I don’t really fault him. I just want him to get out of Tebow’s way.

  3. ck says:

Well, Andrea and Buzzy, this was a well deserved loss for Donkey Inc. and PM should be declassified of any Hall of Famer for that SB game…”One and Done” lived up to his moniker IMO!!! Someone said that the “Seattle SeaHawks MVP was Peyton Manning!” Now, that was too hailarious!!! Percy Harvin was AMAZING!!!! He was Tebow’s right hand guy on The Gator’s Team and they went to more than one BCS Championship w/Percy Harvin too!!!
Can’t wait to see Elrot eat some “MILE HIGH HORSE MANURE!” ALSO, ON THE LIST IS FOX AND BOLEN…AGREED ON ALL THAT ANDREA STATED AS WELL!!!
WAS GOING TO BOYCOTT UNTIL DAUGHTER CALLED AND STATED SHE WAS WATCHING THE COMMERCIALS B/C THEY ARE USUALLY WORTH WATCHING AT TIMES!!! MISSED THE PM FUMBLES AND NO WONDER THEY HAD ZERO INTO THE THIRD QUARTER!!!! GOD SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST AND THEY HAD TO GO BACK W/TAILS BETWEEN THEIR YOU KNOW WHAT!!! GREAT JOB FOR THE SEAHAWKS!!! LOVED THE PICK 6 AND THAT IS A PRO NFL QB THAT IS SUPPOSED BE ABLE TO PLAY?!!! TEBOW WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE JOB DONE AS HE IS C-L-U-T-C-H!!! BET THEY ARE HAVING SECOND THOUGHTS NOW ABOUT TEBOW, RIGHT BUZZY?!!!

  4. ck says:

BUZZY CLASSIC (AS IN TITLE) AND THIS SHOWS THE NFL THAT T2 WILL BE FOREVER IN DEMAND AS THAT QB WILSON RAN THE BALL LIKE T2 AND WON A SB!!!
    GO TEBOW!!!

  5. ck says:

IN THE WORDS OF A CLASSIC CHRISTMAS CARTOON: “STINK, STANK, STUNK!” DESCRIBES PM!!!

  6. Sage says:

As a former Broncos fan, I don’t like to see them look like fools. But they earned this. Richly. No class. No strategy accept clinging to Manning’s aging legacy.

Remarkable how many of Josh McDaniels’ draft picks are still key players on the roster. The way the Broncos treated him was shabby as well.

    • ck says:

Sage: Know there are quite a few Bronco Fans that are upset with all of Elrots lies and used car salesman antics and I don’t fault them b/c they wanted Tebow to stay. It just so happens that at least some people see through what he does on a regular basis which makes you as well among the elite and what you have stated is apparently the truth!
McDaniels was able to spot talent that is for sure and Decker plus D. Thomas are still making the plays in spite of what they have been dealt. Feel badly for Champ as he deserves better imo! Looks like Elrot & Co. along w/PM are going to have to eat some humble pie (if that is possible) as well as look like the Horses’ back side that he is and own it for once!!! Know God does not favor haughtiness and so probably should not gloat only people are supposed to be elated when justice finally wins out and it has been a long time coming!

      • Sage says:

Hi CK. I was disappointed that Champ Bailey didn’t recognize Tebow was his ticket to championships. Bailey gave Tebow some credit, but neither Bailey nor any of his teammates recognized Tebow’s ability to *finish* the job. That is what Tebow does better than anyone. Manning? Not so much.

        • ck says:

Sage: Amen to that and that is why Manning has the moniker “Mr. Choke and one/done” and there you have it. Do they want someone who wins when it counts or can’t handle the pressure and folds? Besides, someone stated that he was so selfish he couldn’t even give the back-up QB the last two minutes when it was not going to count either way!!! Have no doubt that he did not want Tebow around as he was tooooooo selfish in this regard as well and refused to help anyone other than his interests!!! Guess Broncoland is having second and third thoughts on all this mess and being losers once again! Tebow was the ticket and he would have won the SB!!! What a wasted lackluster effort…some called it a classic case of “STAGE FRIGHT!”

  7. bubbaelvis says:

I was really disgusted watching the pregame show. Not once was Tebow mentioned. They only made references to the receivers being primarily blockers before Manning got there and that they were a running team, etc. I don’t know how you can talk about Denver getting to the superbowl without a nod to Tebow’s contribution. Anyway, it is all speculation when you think about what would have happened if they had stuck with Tim. For some strange reason I was really feeling good about Tebow’s NFL future by the end of the game. I mean Russell Wilson was like a mini-Tebow running around making plays. Maybe a light bulb went off in some GM’s head that the ultimate spread QB is available for the taking.

    • ck says:

bubbaelevis: You would think TEBOW at least would have received some obvious overdue credit…talk about fragile EGOS!!! Agree on the comment “DISGUSTED”!!!

  8. Bigfan says:

John Elway who? MIA!! All that hype proved one thing…hype is folly! Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord!!

P.S. Payton…mellow out dude…you got your team and staff way OVER THE TOP PREPARED! Going so far to move the tables and chairs to the ballroom perimeter after the team dinner, not for dancing but yet another walk through…C”MON MAN!!

    • ck says:

Bigfan: Is that really true? Where did you see that…just curious?!
Buzzy says : that was a T. Suggs quote from last year Denver/Ravens play off game i Just Stole it.

  9. lex says:

    Amen, Buzzy.

    • Angela says:

Ok. I love Tim he is a great LEADER and WILLER of impossible things and that being said.. Elway should suck it!!! I do not judge the decision to pick up Payton Manning as with his season speaking (minus the circus of a game the superbowl was) However having one great player creating moat of the plays does not equal a great team….. Tebow made it happen even with a weak o-line he willed his players to gwt it done…. Is and was Tebow gifted with an arm like Payton No but he was and is gifted with the make it happen attitude with the desire and ability to LEAD a team to make it happen. The Broncos have no leadership and sailed into the SB by the grace of Mannings arm… What Elway did to Tebow was disgraceful after a 6 years of no playoffs a rookie qb takes u there with shear will, sweat, blood and tears and u throw him away for 1 man who couldnt even lead your team. Who mind u threw 6 interceptions during a game and couldnt even get it started let alone done…(thats how many Tebow threw all that season) Again I am not dicrediting Manning he IS an amazing player but thats the key word 1 player….. Not a team… Elways a d-bag and I think justice has been served…

Another View: Tim Tebow would have won the Super Bowl …

David Oliver: Thanks for sharing and, yes, believe that to be true…TEBOW WINNING SB” b/c he would have been the ticket, as PM was not as evidenced!
