Broncos open playoffs vs. rival Chargers

There will be no bouquets or balloons exchanged between the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers before the third meeting of the season in the AFC Divisional Playoffs on Sunday.

Denver (13-3) is the top seed in the AFC, but the West division rivals split the regular-season matchups, including the Chargers’ 27-20 victory at Mile High.

Chargers surprise me a lot. But hiring Wisenhunt may have been the biggest reason for Rivers’ good season.

With Rivers, I could learn to like them. They were insufferably arrogant in recent years under the old regime.

I am hoping for a Chargers victory.

GO Chargers Get old one and done Please ! I want to send Elway a Email or Tweet in the 4 QTR “Dont you wish you had Tim Tebow About Now John”

I have this recurring dream. (OK, it’s usually something that runs through my mind while I’m on the toilet. But that’s close. 🙂 )

The Peycos go One & Done again. Peyton says his body just isn’t holding up as well as he’d hoped it would and he’s not sure how much more of this he’s got left in the tank.

And Pat Bowlen turns to Elway and says “It’s OK John. We’ve still got that Tebow Kid. I like him.”

      • Sage says:

Bowlen may be about that far gone. It amazed me to hear him say, after the 2011 season, “It was a good season. But I wanted a great season.”

Talk about an ingrate. Does dimentia excuse that?

Sage: Well said and agree w/all!!!:D

Of all of the Anti-Tebowists, the ones I have no patience for whatsoever are the Broncos Fans. They are totally deceitful pieces of shit.

The Off-Season after 2010 was one of the worst in the History of Broncos Football. The Broncos had just lost the most Games in a Single Season in all of Broncos History. Just go back to the various commentaries on the Denver Post Boards or anywhere else in Denver. It was 100% Gloom and Doomier.

Then 2011 started off in such a disastrous way, it was looking like 2010 was only the beginning and “Suck for Luck” became the only way Broncos Fans could give themselves any solace at all.

Then came Tebow and the Miracle Season topped off by a Rocking Mile High Stadium and a Playoff Win when even by Elway’s own announced Plans, the Broncos had no hopes of seeing for 3 to 5 years of Rebuild.

The 2010 Off-Season was filled with stories of the Broncos Franchise deep Financial Problems and the coming conclusion that Pat Bowlen was going to be forced to sell them to someone with deep enough pockets to keep the Broncos afloat.

The fortunes of the Broncos Team and Franchise were turned around overnight.

Joe Ellis knows that; but he’s not going to get in the middle of the Elway-Bowlen dynamic.

Broncos Fans know it. But some have tried to re-write History for their own personal political agendas.

Wanting Peyton…that’s fine. Saying they’d rather have Peyton as Broncos QB…that’s fine. But trying to dismiss the 2011 Season that completely picked the Broncos up when they were bloodied and flat on the ground is total dung. To call themselves Broncos Fans is to lie. They’re not. Not at all. They have placed their fight to diminish Fans of Tim Tebow and what they like to convince themselves for their own partisan political reasons Fans of Tim Tebow must be above the Team they claim to be Fans of. They have made their own pettiness the only thing they truly care about.

I’ve got no time for that type of crap.

Brandi: Think you covered it all and is it a COVER UP!!! THEY COULDN’T WAIT TO TAKE DOWN T2S PICS B/C ELROT KNEW HE WAS GONNA BE IRRELEVANT IF ALL OF HIS RECORDS CONTINUED TO BE BROKEN BY TEBOW!!!! THE TRUE FANS KNOW HOW THAT PLACE CAME TO WIN IN THE FIRST PLACE AND IT WASN’T B/C OF ELROT & CO.!
