Tim Tebow News: NFL’s Quarterback Still without a Team, Football Career may be Over but a Broadcasting Stint might be on the Way

Tim Tebow was released by National Football League’s (NFL) New England Patriots on Aug. 31, 2013. It has been three months since Tebow was cut but he is still hopeful that he can pave his way back to the premiere football league.

Tim Tebow will be the special guest at an Easter service in Texas that is expected to draw a crowd of nearly 30,000.

According to the Business Insider, after Tebow was let go by the Patriots, a total of 8 out of 32 teams in the NFL has already signed no less than one quarterback to their current roster.

St. Louis Rams has signed Austin Davis and Brady Quinn. Josh Freeman and McLeod Bethel-Johnson were reported to have been included in the roster of Minnesota Vikings and San Francisco 49ers, respectively. Tennessee Titans has signed Josh Skelton. Jordan Palmer signed with Chicago Bears. Matt Flynn is also now part of the Green Bay Packers, alongside Seneca Wallace.

None of them is Tebow. Could this be a sign that Tebow’s football career is over? Now that Tebow’s football career is going nowhere and winding down, there have been numerous reports that he might be moving on to a different job as a football analyst.

Ian Rapoport, an insider of the NFL Network, has stated that if Tebow does not get signed by any team, he might pursue a career as a forecaster for college football, especially now that he is being represented by Creative Artists Agency’s (CAA) Nick Khan, in addition to his football agent Jimmy Sexton.

“Tim Tebow hired famous broadcast agent CAA’s Nick Khan to join Jimmy Sexton in representing him,” Rapoport wrote on Twitter. “If there is no NFL, he will look at college TV jobs,” Rapoport added.

Maybe if Tebow is not really going to be fortunate enough in getting signed again, he might as well make a 360-degree turn on his career and hang his football helmet for good.

Tim Tebow has not been seen on television for weeks. He was last spotted in Hawaii in October while on a vacation with his family.
