time for fans to decide the greatest quarterback of all time.
Fans will vote to decide the greatest quarterback in each team’s history, each division’s history, each conference’s history and, finally, the league’s history. We’ve listed the four best players at the position for each team below.
Because we’re trying to whittle the list down to one final quarterback, on some players we had to decide between two teams where they had success. For example, Kurt Warner may be considered one of the four greatest quarterbacks in Rams and Cardinals history, but we picked St. Louis because that’s where he had greater success.
Voting is live to determine the greatest quarterback in Colts, Jaguars, Oilers/Titans and Texans history. Voting will start for the AFC West on Feb. 4, NFC East on Feb. 11, NFC North on Feb. 18, NFC South Feb. 25 and NFC West on March 4. The NFL’s greatest quarterback will be announced on March 18. Vote now to see who will move on to the AFC South finals. You can vote for the best quarterback in AFC South history on Wednesday.
AFC West (Voting begins Feb. 4)
Denver Broncos: John Elway, Craig Morton, Brian Griese, Tim Tebow
Kansas City Chiefs: Len Dawson, Trent Green, Bill Kenney, Mike Livingston
Oakland Raiders: Ken Stabler, Daryle Lamonica, Jim Plunkett, Rich Gannon
San Diego Chargers: Dan Fouts, John Hadl, Philip Rivers, Stan Humphries

There’s a pretty good chance that Tim Tebow could also win the next Round for Best QB of AFC West. Tom Brady & Terry Bradshaw have already been voted as best in AFC East and AFC Central. And, somewhat oddly, Mark Brunnel has a sizeable lead over Johnny Unitas for Best of AFC South.
It’s a NESN Poll. So it’s hard seeing getting past Brady for Tops in AFC. But still…over-all it looks pretty wild.
I enjoyed this AZCentral story on Tebow’s day at Impact Church.
Arizona sure seems like a good place for Tebow right now. I hope it works out with the Cardinals.
